Bulova Women's 96R167 FAIRLAWN Diamond bezel Watch Review

I ordered this watch, but returned it. There are many lovely things about it. The pros are that it has a sweeping second hand and the face of the watch is truly spectacular. You can not tell to look at the picture, but the mother of pearl takes on a blue irridescent hue where the roman numerals are around the outer face. The rest of the face is an ivory (not stark white) dimensional or patterned tone on tone face. Simply put the face of the watch is the prettiest face of any watch, with more depth than I have ever seen regardless of price. The face is unique, expensive looking and very pretty. I presently own a diamond Rolex, a Coach, and an ESQ watch as a reference and used to own a Cartier. The shape of the watch is nice as the band comes right into the circular face without a bridge. However, this is a thick watch. It is substantial and just felt too much on my wrist. The band is a bit stiff in that it will not lie flat coming out directly from the face. The hands on the watch are only noticeable as blue in certain light. The diamonds look more like a pave setting, which to me made them look a little cheap. The band is also a shiny finish, not matte as the picture shows. I gave it four stars because the cons for me on this watch, may not be cons for another person. There is nothing inherently wrong with the watch...It just had a heavy feel and I didn't care for way the diamonds were set.
