This watch keeps great time but suddenly, almost exactly a month after I received it, the cover became defective. When I press the button on the stem the cover no longer opens unless I flip the whole watch whereas it used to pop up. It doesn't always securely close now either. I have taken good care of it; it has either been nestled in my pocket watch pocket or spending the nights on my desk. I am sure it will soon be spending most of the time in a drawer. The guarantee says I can send it in for a fee for repair but after one month that seems unfair.
