I have wanted a Raymond Weil watch for nearly a decade. About a year ago this one showed up at Amazon and I've kept my eye on it waiting for the price to go down.
When it did, I pounced! I paid for next day delivery. A great big box arrived the morning after I clicked purchase. I carefully peeled back the tape to find that Amazon had used a special double walled cardboard box with additional inserts to keep the Raymond Weil box Secure. Centered in the Amazon box was the lovely original packaging of Raymond Weil. This box too was designed to protect its cargo and Impress the recipient. Lovely and a treat to open, adding to the whole experience.

The watch itself was lovely, the gold just slightly richer than in the photo. The mother of pearl much more iridescent than I had imagined especially in sunlight. I am so happy to have it. I am even more happy to have it at Amazon's price (nearly 40% less than the price of our local brick and mortar jewelry shop). It is a perfect weight on a woman's wrist and a feminine size that is still easy to read. The roman numerals and mother of pearl and two tones are classic design that I imagine will never go out of style. Oh and also, it keeps time ;)
