I gave this to my girlfriend for our 1 year anniversary, and i liked the looks of it with the multiple tones of metal. I'm no watch expert but it was in my price range and was good looking. Watches are very popular with young adult women these days.

I didn't get to see it until my girlfriend opened the Amazon Gift Wrapping (i recommend the service) but it was just as beautiful as I hoped.

Unfortunately the battery was dead (not optimal as a gift) so my girlfriend had her dad replace it and take the necessary links out to make it fit.

It worked after that, I think that these watches just sit in storage but if they are going to let them sit that long, they should at least give you a free Bulova battery (the instruction manual says you HAVE to use one but my girlfriend got away with an energizer) or at the very least recommend you buy a battery/toolset with the watch.

after a few days, i noticed some scuffs on the armband of the watch, which I thought must have been a smudge since it is stainless steel and rosegold, but there were actual scuffs there, after just a few days wearing. I know she's going to have it for many more years and more scuffs will probably come but I'd hate to think that it shipped with these scuffs. She was very careful with it so I don't think it's her doing.

Overall, a great watch for the price, I'm happy with it. I would give it 3.5 stars if i could
