This is a beautiful watch, somewhere between sporty and classic, suitable for all occasions. You can't tell from the picture, but there is a pleasing combination of matte and shiny silver on the watch and bracelet. I was a little concerned that because of the silver dial it would be hard to see the time at a glance. No problem with that, but you need good eyesight or reading glasses to see the date and minute markers. The bracelet safety catch lies flat so it's keyboard-friendly. As for the eco-drive, it's a great invention, and I would not consider buying another battery-powered watch however much I liked the design. I wear my watch everywhere including in the bath, and most of my previous watches have died after battery replacements left them with faulty seals. I bought this watch as a replacement for another Citizen eco-drive that I'd had forever and recently lost. My old watch kept perfect time and although the bracelet was all scratched up the crystal still looked new. I'm expecting the same performance from this one and hope that whoever found my old watch is enjoying it. Meanwhile I'll enjoy this one - it's much better looking!
