Geneva Women's Platnium Large Round Face Silicone Watch Review

I just received this watch for Christmas, and so far I'm really enjoying it. I have another silicone-band Geneva watch (in black) that is very similar to this one, only with a smaller face and no colors.

The stones on the bezel are very clear and incredibly sparkly - even up close it looks like an expensive watch, and definitely from a distance. One of my stones sits a little crooked, but it isn't very noticeable. The face of this watch is BIG, like some medium/large "Boyfriend" watches -- it doesn't really look that big judging from the picture, but it's pretty large. It has a decent weight to it -- heavy enough to feel durable but light enough to be pretty comfortable. The numbers on the inside are just like the picture, fun & funky colors, though maybe a tad lighter than pictured, and the hands are beautifully shaped and stylish. The band, like my other Geneva watch, is a comfortable soft silicone with many holes for adjusting - it should fit even large wrists. The black band on my first Geneva watch attracts dust and lint like CRAZY, and I'm sure this one will as well, though it's nothing a little wiping won't fix. I'll have to see how well it holds up in the long run and update in the future.

So far I really like this watch, and you can't beat the price. It's definitely an eye-catcher --like I said, the face is BIG, and fairly weighty, so if you have small wrists/arms, it's something to consider. It may not be suitable for everyone as an everyday watch, but it is sporty AND stylish enough to wear with many outfits & occasions. It sparkles like mad under lighting -- really beautiful!

UPDATE 11/4/2012:

This watch is still holding up beautifully and I am CONSTANTLY getting compliments on it wherever I go. As I thought, the black silicone band attracts dust and lint quite a bit, but wiping it clear is very easy. It is still just as sparkly and attractive as it was nearly a year ago, although I managed to get one tiny ding on the side. This was one of my favorite gifts from last Christmas, still loving it.
